We make two things: a rich tallow and honey balm, and a lighter tallow cream. Both start with the same grass-fed, halal-certified tallow.
No water in the balm, no synthetic preservatives in either, and nothing added just to pad out an ingredients list.
Why tallow works when other creams don't
Human skin makes sebum from the same fatty acids found in beef tallow. That's not a marketing line, it's basic biochemistry.
Tallow, sometimes called beef dripping in older British kitchens, absorbs the way skin already knows how to absorb, instead of sitting on top like silicone-heavy creams do.
It carries vitamins A, D, E and K naturally, without anything added to make that claim true.

Tallow Cream, lighter and faster to absorb
The cream trades some of the balm's richness for speed. Grass-fed tallow blended with olive oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, and honey.
It sinks in faster than the balm, which makes it better suited to daytime use, under makeup, or anyone who prefers a lighter feel on the face.
Both products share the same tallow base and the same halal certification. The difference is texture and how they fit into your day.

How to use them
A pea-sized amount of either goes further than you'd expect. Warm it between your fingers and it melts into a light layer.
Use the balm at night or on stubborn dry patches. Use the cream in the morning, under makeup, or anywhere you want a lighter finish.
Store both somewhere cool, out of direct sun. Neither needs a fridge.

Yes, every batch of both the balm and the cream is halal certified. We built the brand around that standard from the start. If you'd like to see the certification before you buy, just ask and we'll share it.
Does beef tallow balm smell like meat or beef?
Good tallow shouldn't smell like meat at all. Ours goes through a proper deodorising process before it becomes balm or cream, and a light touch of lavender covers whatever mild scent is left in the balm.
Can I use Novatallow tallow skincare on eczema or psoriasis prone skin?
Many people with eczema and psoriasis reach for tallow skincare because there's so little in it to react to. We won't claim it treats either condition, because that wouldn't be honest. The balm has no water, no synthetic preservatives, and no fragrance oils, which are common triggers for sensitive skin.
Is beef tallow cream or balm safe to use on the face every day?
Yes, both are made for daily use on face and body. The cream tends to suit daytime and under-makeup use better, while the balm is often used at night. A small amount of either spreads a long way.
How long does a jar of tallow balm or cream last?
Because both are concentrated rather than diluted with water like most creams, a small amount covers more skin than people expect. That makes a single jar last noticeably longer than a standard cream of the same size.
Is beef tallow skincare vegan or suitable for vegans?
No, and we'd rather be upfront about that than have you find out after buying. Tallow is rendered beef fat and honey is an animal product, so neither the balm nor the cream is vegan or vegetarian.
What is the difference between the tallow honey balm and the tallow cream?
